Our methodology
Every premium figure on this site is compiled from at least two of the following sources:
- Published insurer rate filings with state Departments of Insurance
- Rate bulletins published by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC)
- Industry benchmark reports from the North American Pet Health Insurance Association (NAPHIA)
- Publicly available rate data from at least three major U.S. insurers
